The inclusive digital workplace (part 2 of 3)

30 March 2023 by Alison Newman

DWG’s new research report The inclusive digital workplace: 2. Forging digital ethics is the second part of a three-report series that looks at the important topic of supporting inclusivity across the digital workplace.

Digital ethics has increasingly become an important factor in the digital workplace, particularly as what we can achieve with new technologies such as artificial intelligence increases, with the potential to fundamentally change the way we work.

In the report we look first at the nature of ethics and how a dedicated digital strain has emerged. We then turn to how digital workplace practitioners can start to fold in an ethical approach to their work, before finishing with an interview with two Internal Communications experts from Comcast about how they are taking an ethical, inclusive approach in their digital workplace.

Authored by Shimrit Janes, the research report is available now for free download: The inclusive digital workplace: 2. Forging digital ethics.

About DWG research

The Digital Workplace Group (DWG) carries out research into best practice in intranet and portal deployment. Covering the hottest topics in the intranet world, the studies we undertake are rooted in practical examples from among DWG member organizations as well as leading non-member companies. The results of this in-depth research act as a basis for decision-making, a source of ideas, and the basis for rich interactions between participants at DWG meetings. Generally, members are given exclusive access to our findings, although we do from time to time make a report available to non-members.
